/These Low Carb Avocado Brownies are perfection with a fudgy, rich chocolate flavor, yet sugar-free and flourless. This easy avocado brownie recipe is a Keto friendly dessert the whole family will love.
I’m obsessed with these avocado brownies, and although I love Avocados, I was excited that you can't really tell the main ingredient is avocados.
I've gone through recipe after recipe trying to find the perfect Sugar- free brownies recipe, but nothing felt like real brownies until I made these AMAZING Keto Avocado Brownies.
How to Make Low Carb Sugar-Free Brownies
My secret weapon for all healthy dessert recipes is Lakanto MonkFruit Sweetener, which is the best natural sugar alternative with zero net carbs, Keto, Paleo, and Vegan-friendly, and Non-GMO.
Lakanto Monk fruit is a 1:1 sugar replacement, meaning for any recipe that calls for say 1 cup of sugar, you can substitute the same exact amount of Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener.
If you already have another Keto sugar replacement or prefer Truvia, Swerve or Stevia you can certainly use those instead, keep in mind you may need to adjust the amount you use, and the nutrition facts may be different.
For this sugar-free brownie recipe, I suggest using Pascha Organic 100% Cacao Unsweetened Chocolate Chips. Since we are adding in the Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener, the brownies will turn out sweet enough.
If you use chocolate chips that are already sweetened, you’ll add unnecessary carbs to your avocado brownies.
How to Make Flourless, Gluten-free Brownies
If you make a lot of low carb recipes you probably already have almond flour in your pantry, and if you don’t, you’ll quickly find that it is a staple ingredient when making flourless Keto Desserts.
To make flourless brownies, you will eliminate any white or wheat flours and use almond or coconut flour instead.
I use Bob’s Red Mill Super Fine Almond Flour. I like the consistency and texture of this brand, and of course, I love that is a natural almond flour ground from whole almonds, skins and all.
It’s perfect for paleo, gluten-free, grain-free baking and cooking.
How to Make Avocado Brownies
You might be surprised how easy avocado brownies are to make. You’ll start by melting the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small pan on medium heat. You can microwave them if you prefer.
Now, add all the ingredients to a food processor (or blender); avocados, eggs, Monkfruit sweetener, almond flour, unsweetened cacao powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate chip-coconut oil mixture.
Then process until all the ingredients are well blended, and the mixture is the consistency of a thick brownie batter.
Now, pour the batter into a prepared 13 X 9 pan, use a spatula to spread the batter evenly in the pan.
How long do I cook avocado brownies
Depending on the type of baking pan you have may vary the cook time I suggest setting your first timer for 20 minutes, check them and continue baking for up to 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the Keto brownie comes out clean.
Finally, let cool, cut into 16 even Keto avocado brownies and ENJOY!
How Many Carbs in low carb Avocado Brownies
