Honey Sriracha Salmon Sushi Bowls | Low Carb and Gluten-Free

These easy Honey Sriracha salmon bowls are going to be a new favorite because of how easy the Air Fryer salmon bites are to prepare and then throw together to make a delicious Salmon Sushi Bowl that has all the delicious flavors of your favorite salmon roll in a delicious bowl and topped with a spicy sriracha mayo, yet still suitable for your low carb or gluten-free lunch or dinner menu.

HONEY SRIRACHA SALMON BITES INGREDIENTS:

There’s so much flavor in these airfryer salmon bites, but the ingredients are pretty simple and you likely have most of them on hand already!

  • Wild caught Salmon- I like grabbing mie from the seafood counter at my grocery store, but nothing wrong with using frozen

  • Coconut Aminos are a great substitute for soy sauce

  • Sriracha

  • Garlic

  • Water

  • Honey

The spicy sriracha sauce will take the salmon bites to another level and is also made with just five simple ingredients, mayo, sriracha, fresh lemon juice, garlic and salt.

To keep this recipe as healthy as possible I suggest using a good quality mayo like this Chosen Avocado Oil Mayo. You want to avoid mayonnaises that are made with canola oil.

HOW TO MAKE HONEY SRIRACHA SALMON BITES IN THE AIR FRYER

Mix all the ingredients for the Salmon bites together and let the salmon sit in the marinade for at least 20-30 minutes and then toss in the Air fryer at 400F for about 9 minutes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THE SALMON SUSHI BOWLS

Ok, now it’s time to assemble your sushi bowls! Add seaweed salad, thinly sliced cucumbers, edamame, and salmon bites to a bowl. You should already have your spicy sriracha sauce mixed up and drizzle on top, drizzle a little more coconut aminos, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds.

HOW TO STORE YOUR SALMON BOWLS FOR THE WEEK
You can make the air fryer salmon bites ahead of time and keep them stored in the fridge for 3-4 days, however, keep your salmon sushi bowl ingredients separate and assemble each day.
